MemPro’s ability to make nCATfiber materials leads to many other opportunities. In the world of nanofiber production, few processes lead to truly consistent, high quality nanofibers. By definition, a nano-product has a size dimension of 100 nanometers or less. Today most nanofiber manufacturing processes result in fibers larger than 100 nanometers. Our process results in true nanofibers. We produce fibers in the range of 80 to 100 nanometers, and these begin as polymeric nanofibers before conversion to ceramic form.

Polymeric nanofibers have broad applications in medicine, biotech, fabrics, filtration, and other industries. The ability to make consistent, true nanofibers opens doors to new applications not possible with current manufacturing technology. Working with the University of Akron and other leading nanofiber technology centers, we are dedicated to having the best production methods to make inexpensive, high quality nanofibers.
